Project:

My main contribution to Element was helping bring a giant robot to life. The majority of the sounds came from FX libraries, but certain aspects of the robot had to be designed from scratch. The robot's shield, voice, and footsteps are great examples of this. The robots voice was an eclectic combination of recording my own voice, using original field recordings, and adding library FX. Similarly, the shield was a combination of synthesized sounds, field recordings, and library FX.

I also edited the combat sound FX for the film. These sounds include a helicopter, missiles, gun foley, ballistics, and explosions.
